What is HD Metal Printing?

At SubShots we use 'dye sublimation' to create our metal prints. This process infuses dyes beneath a special metal coating, which makes our product much more durable than traditional paper and canvas imaging. A simple household cleaner can be used to clean these prints, making them perfect for public spaces and other high traffic areas.

Our HD Metal Prints have amazing image clarity and vibrancy with exceptional detail and color resolution. We offer prints as large as 48"x96", with the option to join multiple panels together and create even larger installations. The sublimated aluminum can be suspended off the wall by using our included light-weight, floating wall mount, providing a sleek, modern finish.

Dye sublimation technology boasts 65+ years before prints begin to fade, beating all leading paper prints. Combined with their durability, metal prints are the ideal medium for artwork you want to last.

The Cost of Metal Prints

Due to the relatively low ink and other raw material cost, as well as not needing to frame the metal prints, the pricing is very competitive to other print types.
